Meet The Crew

Brian T. Chase - Charleston

President- Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions

Office: 843-628-7406
Email: bchase@chaseaviation.com

Brian started his aviation career at age 16 when he took his first flying lesson with Jamestown Aviation at the Chautauqua County-Jamestown Airport. After high school he immediately entered full time flight training and went on to earn a Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.  He now holds a Commercial Pilots License in both Single and Multi-Engine aircraft and is instrument rated with flight time in both Cessna Citations and Beech King Airs.

After college he gained automotive sales experience with New Smyrna Chevrolet in new and used truck sales.  It was here that he realized he needed to combine his love of sales with his aeronautical experience.

Shortly after, he left the automotive business to get back into aviation and became a contract pilot in Mooresville, NC where he started Chase Aviation Company.  After a rough and underpaid start as a corporate pilot, Brian knew that he belonged in the cabin, not in the cockpit.  Two years later, he met his current partners and reopened the doors of Chase Aviation in the Aircraft Sales and Acquistions business.

Brad Young - Charlotte

Learjet Sales and Acquisitions / Financing Consultant

Office: 704-500-6643
byoung@chaseaviation.com

Brad hails from the great State of South Carolina and now splits his time between Raleigh, NC and the Lake Norman, NC area.  He was bitten by the “aviation bug” while attending college in Texas on a sports scholarship and went on to earn his Private Pilot’s License while there.  After college he returned to Greenville, SC to complete the rest of his professional pilot training and quickly became a flight instructor.  During that time he was offered a job flying for NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt's racing teams where he stayed until the tragic accident at Daytona Speedway.  After, he continued flying for Mrs. Earnhardt and her race teams including Dale Earnhardt Jr.

As if flying for NASCAR wasn’t exciting enough, Brad decided to learn the mortgage finance business and became a successful mortgage loan originator while his aviation career lead him into the cockpit of another NASCAR driver’s Learjet, Kevin Harvick.  He later joined an Aircraft Finance company originating turbine aircraft loans where he remained until joining our team.

After having worked with Brad, we decided that he would be a tremendous addition to the Chase Aviation team with his unique and extensive background in Aviation and Finance.  We are very pleased to have him on board as a Learjet specialist and there are few sales professionals out there that are as well prepared and equipped to handle all of our customers’ needs.
