"Buying an aircraft without the right professionals around you is a great way to make your local maintenance facility very wealthy."
"The secret to buying a pre-owned aircraft the right way is making sure that you're not inheriting the last owner's deferred maintenance. That's not easy to do."
"Aircraft are purchased on a 'pay now, or pay later' basis. You might think you got a great deal on an aircraft but find out later why it was so cheap. Don't be that person!"

How we work:
When it comes to Aircraft Acquisitions, we are not brokers. Period. We are consultants to our Clients and represent only their interests. We get hired on an exclusive basis, get paid a non-refundable retainer fee up front to cover expenses and we take no commission from the Seller. Any and all savings is passed on to you! We charge a flat rate (instead of a percent commission like others do) for our services, which we base on how much value we can add to the project given the workscope that you need and want.
What's included:
Aircraft Mission AnalysisWe look at your missions, your typical passenger loads, your airports, your budget, cost thresholds and much more all to determine which type of aircraft best fits your needs and budget. Unless you already know, in which case, we'll just advise you if there are any inconsistencies.

Contract Negotiations / Deal StructuringThere is so much more to an Aircraft Purchase Agreement than what the purchase price will be. It's about setting the deal up for success in a way that protects our clients, increases the transparency of the plane we're buying and minimizes the stress on everyone throughout the deal.

Logistical Support
Market ResearchOne of the hardest parts about purchasing an aircraft is sifting through all the advertisements trying to gather all the needed information to pay your due diligence. We know exactly what we're looking for and how to get it out of a seller. Information that could take the you weeks to obtain, takes us one phone call.
|
Off Market Research
Depending on the type of aircraft you want to purchase, there may be several aircraft available that are not being advertised for sale. Part of the service we offer includes calling and emailing current aircraft owners to see if they are willing to sell. Sometimes the timing is right and we find an aircraft owner looking for a quick, confidential sale.
Outside services available as part of our Acquisitions.
With existing relationships already in place with third-party vendors critical to an aircraft purchase, we're in a great position to help you keep those costs to a minimum and advise you on which ones you need and which ones you don't. The best part is, we NEVER take referral fees or kickbacks from any of our vendors so you can feel confident you're getting the best possible advice.
Pre-Purchase Inspections
Depending on where the potential aircraft is based or will be based, we'll access our network of trusted aircraft maintenance providers and work with them to define a workscope that let's us find out everything we need to know about an aircraft before we buy it. While we don't make an warranties to the mechanical condition of an aircraft

Aircraft Financing
We have several great lenders that we like to work with and can recommend based on the type of aircraft being purchased and what kind of terms our client is looking for. We'll make the introductions to all that fit and help keep the wheels in motion.
Cost: 3-6%, 6-10yr, 20-30% down
Legal Counsel
Like most business dealings, Lawyers are often times a necessary evil. They're an added expense and their mere presence in an aircraft transaction tends to complicate and add needless pressure to a situation that already has enough of both. However, we know where there are a few good ones and can recommend them if the need arrises.

Tax Consulting
Unless you like getting massive tax bills from your local or State government, it's best not to rely solely on your own CPA for aviation tax advice. Whether it's a once time conversation or a three year managed contract, we have Aviation Tax Advisors licensed in all 50 states that can be an integral part of our transactions. The last time we used them we saved our client over $150,000 worth of State sales tax.
Cost: $3500-$5000/yr

Aircraft Title and Escrow
All of our aircraft transactions big and small are run through a US-based Escrow Agent in Oklahoma City, OK. We have worked with them all and definitely have our favorites but always remain open to the aircraft owner or our clients' preferences. They not only handle the deposit and fund the sale but they hold the documents that are critical to the sale of the aircraft as a neutral third party. They also help coordinate the release of liens and act as a liaison with any needed banks.

Aircraft Management
Truth be told, anyone can buy an aircraft. You need someone like us to make sure it gets purchased correctly though and you also need someone that can operate and maintain your aircraft after you buy it. We'll help you shop for the most qualified Aircraft Management Company and in many cases be able to recommend which ones are good and which ones to stay away from.

Three reasons why you need a Aviation Consultant:
1) It's the Wild West out there
A lot of people The aircraft sales industry is entirely unregulated. Not a single FAA regulation applies to the actual ways and means of selling an aircraft. Worse yet, the Internet has brought us from the information age, to the disinformation age. When all it takes is an iPhone camera and an advertisement on Controller.com to call yourself an aircraft broker, the potential pitfalls of navigating the purchase of an aircraft are endless.
2) Expert Advice

Not only that but having someone on YOUR side during a pre-purchase inspection is extremely important. You don't want to inherit the previous owner's problems so we'll be with you every step of the way.
3) Time Savings
Chances are, if you're considering buying a business jet, turboprop or helicopter, you're probably a pretty busy person without a whole lot of extra time to spend trying to conduct your own market research and shop for the best deal. We have all the connections and know who to trust, who to avoid, and who to run away from.
